Guess What Happens When You Put Milk In Coke?

Mr. John Pemberton invented Coca-Cola in the early 20th century. Way back then it did, in fact, contain Cocaine, derived from the South American Coca plant. These days, the energy boost a person feels upon ingesting a Coke comes from the caffeine and sugars, as the Cocaine was removed from the recipe a long, long time ago. Besides the energy lift, some other strange things can potentially happen if a person’s stomach already, or shortly thereafter drinking a Coca-Cola, contains anything in the dairy family kinds of foods.

It is well known that the modern day Coke formula is a closely guarded industry secret. While the existence of the exact recipe eludes researchers, it IS known that Genetically Modified Organisms like modified Sugar Beet, as well as Phosphoric Acid are parts of the secret list. It is quite possible that other GMO tainted ingredients make it into Coca-Cola’s final ingredient list. It’s just hard to tell, so closely are the recipe and formula guarded.

SO, look out. A strange and bizarre reaction will take place, should one’s stomach have, say, a glass of milk, or some other dairy product, inside it, having been drunk, or eaten, a little earlier on in the day. The world famous Coke causes milk to curdle whenever it comes into contact with the Casein, which is a substantial part of Coke’s recipe. The proteins in the two substances, the glass of cold, refreshing Coke containing Casein, and the proteins in the milk meet and immediately begin to react with one another, causing curdling.

In the video the results of this reaction can be easily observed. First, the two agents combine. Secondly, and this can and does happen right there in anybody’s stomach, the Coke containing Casein, and the proteins in the dairy, react against each other and curdles of grossness float and bubble to the surface. After a time elapse of approximately 6 hours, a semi-clear liquid is separated and floating on top, with much granular residue sinking and remaining toward the bottom.

This is what happens when Coke and milk meet inside the typical person’s stomach. It is extremely unappetizing to observe and to notice. Please, make careful note!

The next time you think of the real thing, remember to ask yourself, ‘Have I had a glass of milk today? Depending on your answer to this question, you might wish to advise yourself, “I think I will have a glass of juice instead this time.”

If you’ve ever felt a little nauseous shortly after having consumed a tall glass of the American classic, Coca-Cola, it may just well be that earlier in your day you also consumed Milk, cream in your coffee, or a bowl of ice cream. More power to you, people, but it is advisable: Think with your mind, rather than your appetite.

Cheers!
